Our Operations

Yarraman Pine Pty Ltd Sawmill and Processing Facility

Located at Yarraman in the heart of the Brisbane Valley, Yarraman Pine Pty Ltd is a 100% subsidiary of Finlayson's and is the second largest araucaria sawmill in Australia.

Our mill and processing facility is the core provider of processed plantation Araucaria timber for both domestic and international markets through The Finlayson Group.

Yarraman Sawmill operations include;-

Over the past few years multi-million dollar investment has seen upgrades including the introduction of world leading technology in grading, scanning, high speed docking and finger jointing production.

All araucaria is locally sourced from Government managed plantations with Australian Forestry Standard certification. Yarraman Pine has recently achieved full Chain of Custody certification. Having a chain of custody system gives purchasers the highest level of confidence that the timber they are procuring originates from certified sustainably managed forests.

Linville Hardwood Sawmill and Processing Facility

Also situated in the Brisbane Valley, 10 minutes drive from Moore is our Linville Sawmill.

Linville is primarily a flooring and decking manufacturing plant, servicing both domestic and International markets.

Here we run:

• A hardwood sawmill
• Kiln drying and
• Flooring and decking moulding production line.

The main timber species include Iron Bark, Spotted Gum, Tallowood, Brushbox and Blackbutt.

Sumner Park

A large 3 acre site on the corner of Bullockhead and Spine Streets at Sumner Park.

Over the past few years it has seen a substantial modernization and continuing growth in Finlayson’s production facilities.

Sumner Park is now home to our:

• Envirowood solid timber window and door factory
• High speed moulding production line
• Laser and wood turning facilities
• 2 seperate Wholesale divisions

East Brisbane Trade and Renovators Store

Located at 135 Wellington Road East Brisbane, our large 2 acre trade and DIY store carry a massive range of timber, hardware, building products and joinery products.

Sales staff and orderpersons are on hand to cater for material pick ups on the run or arrange delivery. East Brisbane offer Australia's largest range of stock mouldings as well as the new green room showcasing amongst other products Envirowood solid timber windows and doors and a massive display and range of timber flooring.

Annandale Timber and Moulding Company Pty Ltd

Established in 1931, Annandale specialises in the manufacture and distribution of quality timber mouldings, joinery and building products.

With over 150 mouldings in stock including Victorian, Federation and contemporary designs we are sure to have a design to suit.
