Endeavouring to make modern history
The Queenslander, a wooden house on stumps surrounded by verandahs and lattice with straight through halls and corridors, and was often capped by a pyramid shaped red tin roof. It created a unique lifestyle and helped shape the Queensland character. The outdoor, leisurely way of life in sub tropical Australia.

This 3 level beach style house was designed by Ken Down Architects of Maroochydore (now known as CORE Architecture Pty Ltd). The open plan design has been focused on all rooms to obtain a view of Manly Harbor and Morton Bay by the use of extensive commercial glazing.
